Sri Ramcharitmanas is a history event written in the 17th century by Goswami Tulsidas in Awadhi language. This book is considered a great work of Awadhi literature (Hindi literature). It is also commonly known as 'Tulsi Ramayana' or 'Tulsikrit Ramayana'.

Ramcharitmanas holds a special place in Indian culture. The popularity of Ramcharitmanas is unique. In North India as 'Ramayana' is read daily by many people. Its beautiful Kanda is recited for nine days in Sharad Navaratri. Ramayana circles recite its Sundarkand on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The hero of Sri Ramcharit Manas is Sri Ram who is depicted as a dignified priest who is the incarnation of Lord Shrihari Narayan, the lord of the all-universe, while Shri Ram is depicted as an ideal human being in Maharishi Valmiki Ramayana.

The whole human society teaches how to live life, no matter how many obstacles therein, Lord Rama of Tulsi is almighty, but is a man of great dignity. Goswami has described Ramcharit in a unique style, taking shelter of the couplets, chaupayas, soraths and verses.

Sri Ramacharitmanas is an epic written by the 15th century poet Goswami Tulsidas. As Goswami himself wrote in the Balachand of Ramcharit Manas that he began the creation of Ramcharit Manas in Ayodhya on Vikram Samvat 1831 (158 AD) on the day of Ramnavami (Tuesday).  

According to Sri Hanuman Prasad Poddar, the editor of GitaPress Gorakhpur. Goswami Tulsidas ji took 2 years 4 months 24 days to write Ramcharitmanas and he completed it on the day of Rama Vivah in Margashirsha Shuklapaksa in Samvat 1733 (158 AD). The language of this epic is Awadhi.

In Ramcharitmanas, Goswami ji has described the serene and vivid character of Shri Ramchandra. The Sanskrit Ramayana composed by Maharishi Valmiki is considered to be the basis of Ramcharitmanas.

Although both the Ramayana and the Sri Ramacharitmanas describe the character of Rama. There is a significant difference in the narrative style of the poets who composed the two epics. While Valmiki has depicted Rama as only a worldly person in the Ramayana. Goswami ji has considered Rama as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Ramcharitmanas.

Goswami has divided Shri Ramcharitmanas into seven kandas. The names of these seven kandas are - Balkand, Ayodhyakand, Aranyakand, Kishkindhandak, Sundarakand, Lankand (battlefield) and Uttarkhand. According to the number of verses, Balkand and Kishkindhakanda are the largest and the smallest cases respectively.

Tulsidas ji has made very beautiful use of Awadhi ornaments in Ramcharitmanas especially Anuprasa Alankar. Every Hindu has a unique faith in Ramcharitmanas and is considered a holy book of Hindus.

Brief psyche story

This is the time when Manu and Satarupa were doing penance for Parambrahma. After doing penance for many years, Shankarji himself told Parvati that Brahma. Vishnu and I had come to Manu Satarupa many times to offer brides ("Bidhi hari har akpa dekhi apara, manu came near Bahu Bara") and said that whatever You want to ask, ask.

But Manu Satarupa had to ask for Parambrahma himself as a son, then how could he ask for a boon from Shankar, Brahma and Vishnu? Our Lord Shri Ram is omniscient. They automatically know the desire of the devotee's heart. When 23 thousand more years have passed, there is a radio through Lord Shri Ram-

When Manu Satarupa hears this Akashvani. His heart swells and when Parambrahma Rama himself appears, praising him, Manu and Satarupa say- "Sunu sevak suratru suradhenu. Bidhi hari har bandit pad renu. Sevat Sulabh gross. Soothing, Pranatpal Sachrachar Nayak॥ "

That is, those whose feet are praised by the Vandana method, Hari and Hara i.e. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, and whose nature is praised both by virtue and virtue: what brides should they ask? By mentioning this, Tulsidas has also advised those people who worship Rama only to consider the formless as Parambrahma.
